Patch 3.23: Auto-minions

Since the very beginning of EndGods, our gameplay has not changed despite a myriad of big changes. The core concept of lane based tactical gameplay has remained largely the same.

We are now taking our gameplay one step further, by introducing “auto-minions” into the League of Gods Pro Map, “Temple of Horus”.

What is auto-minions?

A set group of units will spawn at the start of each lane at regular intervals to fight for you. Players will not have to do anything, it is automatic and will happen on both sides. These are different from the Tower Minions present in the League of Gods Pro map, both Tower minions and auto-spawn minions will co-exist.

Each group of minions will consist of:
1 x Offensive Melee Minion 
1 x Defensive Shield Minion 
1 x Offensive Ranged Minion 

As these heroes are now auto-spawn, they will be removed from the hero selection of League of Gods Pro.

The key idea behind this game-changing mechanic to the core gameplay was to improve and solve certain issues that have long been in the game.

Frequent, long and boring stalemates – Players would often be entrenched in a grueling endurance battle that would simply take too long to finish. Players either gave up or just could not keep up the intensity for long, resulting in a punishing game that isn't the kind of “decisive” victory we want players to experience.

The addition of minions allows for better building up of armies to overcome the enemy. More tactics can be created using minions to their advantage, allowing for more purposeful, strategic victories. Minions add a constant pressure on either side that will be very punishing if utilized correctly.

They will serve to create a constant conflict on the battlefield when players are not summoning heroes for tactical reasons. Auto-spawn minions will also help to end a game if no heroes are being summoned on both ends for prolonged periods as one side will eventually overwhelm the other and win.

We hope everyone will enjoy this new change that is coming really soon to EndGods, we simply cannot wait to see how players will adapt and utilize their newfound minion army into their killer arsenal.

Existing Hero Changes


Loki 2
His core ability has changed. Loki 2 will no longer be able to teleport and spawn a an illusion of himself. Only his invisibility and extra damage when he attacks an enemy while invisible will remain.

Imp 
- Mana Cost reduced from 30 to 10
- Cooldown increased from 5 seconds to 10 seconds

- Mana Cost reduced from 30 to 15
- Health increased from 660 to 1000

[Combo] Divine Punisher (nezha + guan yin)
- Cooldown increased from 90 to 120
- God mode type combo - immune to all damage
- Both players Mana are reduced to 0
- Mana regen: 20 mana/3secs
- Mana regen duration: until Mana hits 100 maximum
- Divine punisher is removed from the map after Mana is restored to 100
- Divine Punisher deals area of effect damage from 30damage/0.3sec to 300damage/0.3sec
- Cooldown of attack reduced from 8 secs to 3 secs

Yan Luo Wang” is a new hero that will join the forces of Hell  (Previously known as Imp 2)
